Seniors who require high levels of nursing care want to know they are cared for in a high‐quality, compassionate environment.
In addition to its reputation built on more than 60 years of providing nursing and rehabilitative care, Albany’s Mennonite Home can give them the added peace of knowing the State of Oregon has found no deficiencies in the facility.
The Mennonite Home is inspected by the state annually. Administrators and staff have no notice of the inspections, so the state surveyors can be sure they are evaluating typical conditions at the nursing facility. And
since 2003, state inspectors have found that the Mennonite Home has had the highest possible quality of care.
“It’s due to the superior standards and amazing levels of devotion and caring by our gifted staff members,” said Mennonite Home Administrator Rob Hays. “We love our community’s elders and we take great pride in showing them the care and respect they deserve.”
Hays said that an average nursing care facility might receive anywhere from four to 12 deficiencies in their annual surveys. Such deficiencies can range from inconsistencies with paperwork to issues with resident care,
housekeeping, or food sanitation. The Mennonite Home has not had a single deficiency in five years, making it one of the top facilities in Oregon.
The Mennonite Home, which is part of the Mennonite Village retirement community in Albany, Oregon and open to people of all faiths, has 95 beds available for residents who require 24‐hour short‐ and long‐term care.
Mennonite Home, which is approved for Medicare, Medicaid, and private payment, provides inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. |
