BEAUTICIAN
Mennonite Home Nursing & Rehab
Lease Opportunity

Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that provides 24-hour care in Albany, Oregon. We are currently seeking a stylist to provide shampooing, roller sets, airwaves, cutting, styling, coloring and permanent waves to residents and other clients. Licensed in nail technology is preferred. This position is flexible in days and times, but hours and days must be consistent from week to week.

You must enjoy working with the elderly and should develop a rapport with the residents. You may bring in customers from outside the Community and would be responsible for the actions of those customers while on campus.

Mennonite Village agrees to lease the hair salon space located on our Community, to the Beautician. Mennonite Village will provide styling stations (mirror, sink, and chair), dryer station with chair and laundering of towels.

The monthly lease is $250 for full time and will be prorated for part time. The first 90 days of the lease will be waived of the monthly rate while clientele is being built.

To be considered for this position you must be licensed with the Oregon Health Licensing, Board of Cosmetology.

RESIDENT ASSISTANT
Quail Run Assisted Living

Provides care for assigned residents by assisting them with activities that they otherwise could not perform alone. Lydia’s House is a community designed to care for elderly persons who have Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. Culinary skills needed to cook meals made from scratch and bake breads, rolls, and desserts.

Prepares foods according to menus and modified diets, while following policies and procedures set by the Mennonite Village and Dietary Department.  Supervises Dietary Aides.
