5353 Columbus St SE, Albany, OR 97322

A labyrinth is an ancient circular pattern found in cultures throughout the world. It consists of a single pathway leading from the entrance to the center and back again. There is no "right" or "wrong" way to walk a labyrinth. Each person experiences it in his or her own way. Your experience will be as unique as you. The labyrinth is known to have a curative effect on certain ailments, producing a sense of well-being and balance through a type of vestibular stimulation, accessing both left and right hemispheres of the brain.
— Suzannah Doyle and Nan Dudek

A canvas labyrinth on loan from The Church of the Good Samaritan will be displayed in the chapel to allow for a meditative gratitude walk. If you have experience with labyrinths and would rather volunteer for this event, please contact our Wellness staff: 541-928-7232 ext. 269.
